Joining as a New Member
We are always welcoming new members, so come along and see what we’re all about.
Sometimes, coming along to a running club for the first time is the hardest step. We’ve all been there, so we know how it feels and that’s why we make it as easy as possible.
We offer a free trial week, so come down to a couple of our training runs before deciding whether to join. That way, you will benefit from the experience and see how friendly, diverse and inclusive we are.
Whatever your level, F&WRC offers members the opportunity to run with others of a similar ability; there is something for everyone and we are the friendliest club on the Fylde Coast.
We are an adult running club (aged 16+) as we do not have the appropriate changing and safeguarding facilities for younger persons. Membership for anyone under 16 will only be considered if their parent(s)/guardian(s) accept total and direct responsibility for such persons whilst at the Club or attending related events.

Please Note: If you are applying to join Freck and Warton Running Club as a new member, but have been registered with England Athletics as a member of another running club, please take a look at the below link, and follow the instructions provided.

1st October 2024 to 31st March 2025
If you are joining the club after 1st October, you can join for a reduced membership fee, this gives a discount of £5.

What Do Your Fees Pay For?
The club portion of membership fees for all club members goes into the F&WRC pot and pays for things that will benefit the whole club, such as:
- Training Coaches with England Athletics, including LiRF courses and CiRF courses
- Equipment, such as cones, training aides and hi viz
- CPD for coaches, such as First Aid courses
